Can I break my lease with my landlord due to roach problems in the building. If so, can i get my sec dep back?

I just signed a 12 month lease for my apartment. It has been less than a week, and everyday I have found roaches in my kitchen. I even found some dead and alive roaches in the refrigerator. I'm afraid to put food in my there or in my kitchen period. Can i get out of this lease and get my security deposit back? PLEASE HELP!!
