Medical help with bodily rections to being punched?

I was punched today pretty hard, now this has happened twice, the other time was also early in the morning anyway i got hit and then about 30 seconds later i couldn't hear anything, blurred vision and ringing in my ears, i felt like i was going to faint.... im guessing this is just the body reacting to the sudden pain when its so early in the morning? By the way it lasted for about 2-3 mins before everything was completely back to normal.
