Global Warming and World Hunger????

Am I the only one that feels embarrasesd that our government and charity organisations are going on about saving the world from the dreaded C02 when there are children dying from hunger as we speak? We have fields and fields of oil seed for Biofuel when we could be growing grain for the third world. I understand that we need to take action for our environment but who are we saving it for? we're saving it for the white wealthy northern hemisphere. The greenhouse effect is only a theory, world hunger is a FACT.
