Do you think this is SELFISH?

You bring up a very interesting question. If you have a child that is born with a mental disability & will suffer for the rest of its life would you refrain from having anymore children because it MIGHT end up like the first? I wouldn't. Babies are very well taken care of in NICU, I don't think they are "suffering" not to mention that they are too young to remember it, not that that justifies harming a child.
