People of politics! Would you please lend your personal insight into this matter?

No affiliation, and I find it sad that there are still those in other nations who are so closed minded and bigoted in regards to anything critical of them. The fact that people are calling for a death sentence for the man is sickening to say the least. No God I know of supports such judgmental behavior.
