What's the best diet for a tennager?

Let me tell you sweetheart. Starving won't help you as much as eating will. But the thing is to only eat Fresh Fruit (not the canned stuff), Fresh Veggies or steamed, Protein (like fish, peaut er, nuts and berries,) and last dairy- it speeds up the process. Yogurts, reduced fat milk, and etc... do this for about 3 weeks with mild to moderate excerise and you'll start dropping fat quick. but still have muscle so that you aren't looking sick. Would also be wise to drink plenty of water, and take vitamins. My favorite are the flintstone's gummies because they taste like gummy bears. :) Also I know this is going to hurt but the number 1 mistake ppl make is sweets. No candy, chips, soda. etc.... 1 piece undo days or even weeks of process. once you get your desired goal slipping in 1 or 2 peices every now and then will be ok... but just don't do it unitl okay? good luck!! Plenty of WATER!!!
