Why aren't Blazers fans excited about Rudy Fernandez?

The guy plays a lot of defense at the top of the key and disrupts point guard . I know he has average dribbling skills and prolly won't be able to drive to the paint as well in the NBA but he still would be able to create his own jumpshot. He's also 23 and knows how to play the game the right way!
