Do I have exclusive rights to the recipe I created?

This would be under a contract. If you gave the coffee house the recipe so others could produce the bars, you gave away your right to claim it as yours. I have worked in many restaurants and the cooks have a certain recipe they do not share with the business except for offering it to customers on the menu. No other employees have the recipe.
