Help, Girly question, girls if u have ur period, help me please!!?

Ok so i havnt got my period yet, and have had normal discharge for a while. Now i am starting to get a discharge that is whiter and like more elastic. I dont have thrush, so could this be my period on its way? I weigh 46 kgs and my mum got her period at 13 and i am now 14. Please help me!!!! Thanks in advance girls! No stupid answers please.
